The GCL is a license I created for myself. I believe in Free and Open software, and wanted to apply this concept to my artistic works. I'm not very interested in using the creative commons licenses. Not because their function is at fault, but moreso that I wanted something that emphasized the philosophical aspect. So that's why I wrote this. I'm providing it here for anyone to use if their interested.
